Kristin Leigh Campbell

Kristin Leigh Campbell is the Science and Policy Analyst at IGSD. With a background in atmospheric and climate sciences as well as law and policy, Kristin’s work focuses on incorporating scientific research on short-lived climate pollutants, tipping points and feedbacks, and other near-term climate impacts into the various fast-mitigation strategies highlighted by IGSD. She led the development and continued updates to the Primer on Polar Warming and Implications for Global Climate Change, and she regularly contributes to Primers on HFCs and SLCPs. Kristin has a Juris Doctor and Masters of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School, a Master of Arts in Climate and Society from Columbia University, and Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Florida State University. She is barred in the State of New York.
