Jon Turner

Jon Turner is a Law Fellow at IGSD. His research includes mitigation of methane and other short-lived super climate pollutants, litigation strategies, and implementation and enforcement of the Montreal Protocol. Previously, Jon served as an intern with the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency, the North Carolina Supreme Court, and the Conservation Voters of South Carolina. Jon also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mongolia and Myanmar, and edited newspapers in three U.S. states and the nation of Cambodia.

Jon holds a J.D. and Master’s Degree in Environmental Legal Policy from Vermont Law School. He is a member of the bar in the District of Columbia.
