Laura Bloomer

Laura Bloomer is Staff Attorney at IGSD. Her work includes researching climate tipping points and feedbacks, debt-for-climate swaps, and tracking international climate litigation. Previously, Laura worked at the Environmental and Energy Law Program at Harvard Law School where she researched and wrote about federal air quality regulations and public lands programs. Before law school, Laura taught English in Indonesia as a Peace Corps Volunteer and worked on President Obama’s reelection campaign. Laura has a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Harvard Law School, Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and Bachelors of Arts in Government and Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin. She is barred in the State of Massachusetts.
