Record heatwave hits parts of Canada and US (interview)

July 1, 2021

TRT World Now– IGSD President Durwood Zaelke answers the questions “What sets this heatwave apart?” And, “do you think these extreme weather events are having an impact on those who deny climate change?”

Zaelke comments on the role of the Arctic for weather regulation, dangerous AC feedback loop, and the importance of cutting short-lived super climate pollutants to slow planetary warming in time.

“The world is getting hotter and is going to stay hotter if we don’t slam on the breaks of warming. The fastest way to do this is by cutting super pollutants, including methane, HFCs & black carbon. Heat is the enemy we need to beat.”
