Webinar: The critical role of methane in addressing the climate emergency

Alongside the Global Methane Hub, IGSD hosted The critical role of #methane in addressing the climate emergency, a 2-hour event exploring the latest science and policy options for fast methane mitigation. The first session highlights recent developments in refining our understanding of methane sources and trends and their contribution to global warming, air pollution, and food insecurity. The second session highlights what is needed to address the crisis in terms of mitigation, building resilience, and closing the finance gap. Both sessions were followed by a Q&A session moderated by the head of the Global Methane Hub Marcelo Mena.
