Katie Super Law Fellow

Katie Super is a Law Fellow at IGSD. Her work focuses on the development of climate litigation strategies, in particular targeting reductions of short-lived climate pollutants such as methane. She has also supported IGSD’s submissions to the Inter-American Court of Human Rights with respect to their forthcoming Advisory Opinion on climate change.  

Prior to joining IGSD, Katie completed a one-year fellowship at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France, where she worked jointly with the Research Division of the Jurisconsult and Judge Ivana Jelić of Montenegro (current Vice-President of the Court) to research and analyze jurisprudential developments in the interpretation and application of the European Convention on Human Rights. While there, she took a particular interest in the Court’s jurisprudence on climate change, illustrated most notably in the recent cases Verein KlimaSeniorinnen Schweiz and Others v. SwitzerlandDuarte Agostinho and Others v. Portugal and 32 Others, and Carême v. France

Katie earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2023 and holds a B.A. in Politics and International Affairs from Wake Forest University. She speaks English, Spanish, and French.
