Trina Chiemi
Law Fellow
Trina Chiemi is a Law Fellow at IGSD and a founding co-chair of the Fast Action on Climate to Ensure Intergenerational Justice (FACE Intergenerational Justice) initiative. Their work focuses on focuses on using law and policy to ensure intergenerational climate justice, particularly through near-term climate mitigation. Previously, Trina served as a Research Associate and the Executive Assistant at IGSD. Trina is part of YOUNGO’s policy team and helped coordinate the 2023 Global Youth Statement.
Trina earned her J.D. from Vermont Law & Graduate School in 2025 and holds B.A.s in Political Science and Peace, War & Defense from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Trina is fluent in Japanese and English.
